Welcome to the Tan y Maen website.

Our drop in centre is somewhere you can call in for a warm welcome,
a cuppa and someone to talk to - you don't have to make an appointment.
It is a bit like a social club.
At times people might want to talk about things that are troubling them,
but often people just want an ordinary conversation.

We do not offer a counselling service, but
people have the chance to join with various activities
or try complimentary therapies at the centre.
One of the basic philosophies of the centre is to encourage
self-help and mutual support, to encourage people to grow
in confidence and to develop new skills or regain old ones.
